U15 AA Panthers win OHF Championship in Oakville to complete quadruple of championships
On April 20th, the U15 AA team captured the 2024 OHF championship with a 4-3 overtime win against the NOHA champion Soo Jr Greyhounds.
The Panthers trailed 3-2 heading into the third period, but forced overtime thanks to a late goal by defender Mario Alati (assisted by Michael Alaimo) with 03:42 left to play.
Roughly two minutes into overtime, the Panthers completed the comeback, with the OHF-winning goal scored by forward Luca Testani.
With their OHF victory, the U15 Panthers completed the
quadruple, winning all four major trophies in 2023-2024:
GTHL Pro Hockey Life Cup,
GTHL Playoffs,
International Silver Stick Finals, and
OHF Championship.
